Yultron sent this song over to us a couple months ago, and we’ve been patiently waiting while Marshmello’s team whitelisted the remix for SoundCloud. And after weeks of waiting, that day is finally here – Yultron’s remix of “Silence” by Marshmello & Khalid is live and it’s on repeat for us.
Yultron clearly tried to do something different with this remix, and he’s hit the nail on the head. Listening to this makes me feel like I’m back in the late ’90s, albeit with infinitely better mixing and mastering. The pure dance vibes are truly infectious, bordering on happy hardcore and making excellent use of Khalid’s vocals by chopping them up and pitching them way, way up.
Even with remixes already out from the likes of Illenium and Slushii, I still find myself coming back to this Yultron remix over and over again. Check it out below.
