Since Donald Trump was elected President of the United States, a funny thing has happened: ecstasy pill manufacturers have started to use his likeness. Perhaps it’s the correlation between Trump being elected and wanting to escape reality, perhaps not, but the pills have begun showing up across Europe and the US.
The most recent appearance came during a small-time drug bust in Indiana when Indiana State Police found a stash of the pills, among other brands.
Officials on Friday released a photo from the undertaking, codenamed “Operation Blue Anvil,” showing ecstasy pills in the shape of Trump’s head. On the back are the words “great again,” an apparent reference to Trump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again.”
The number of these pills was not specified.
5,000 similarly branded pills with an estimated value of $46,000 were found in Germany last year.
