Lately, double singles have become all the range so it’s not surprising to see an artist as trendy as the talented young Alex Lustig get into it with one of his own. If You Wanna/Sunrise features two tracks aptly titled, “If You Wanna” and “Sunrise” and both are magnificent – though “If You Wanna” has the added benefit of a lovely Ayelle feature.
The producer’s mastery of vivid and emotional soundscapes is certainly on display while his chemistry on Ayelle shines through once again. “If You Wanna” is their third collaboration together and I certainly expect to see several more in the pipeline of similar quality while “Sunrise” is a charming downtempo record with dreamy synths that paint vibrate sonic landscapes.
