Rival – Satisfy The Rage (ft. Micah Martin) [Lyric Video]

Rival – Satisfy The Rage (ft. Micah Martin) [Lyric Video]

Micah Martin is invading dance music and I could not be more here for it. After three tracks with Kayzo, another with Anki, and one with Snafu all the way back in 2016, Martin has become something of a fixture in dance music for his unique vocal personality. Most recently, he appears on “Satisfy The Rage,” new from Rival.

“Satisfy The Rage” clearly leans quite heavily on Martin’s vocals, which sit gallantly atop the production in the mix for the majority of the track. But the dark and suspenseful production go together brilliantly with the vocals, which are even more accurately portrayed by the color scheme of the lyric video below: dark reds, sinister shadows, and still water.

The song as a single is good, but it feels like it would truly be a monumental track leading into some epic climax in an album or EP. Time will tell if that feeling materializes, but I’m happy with the track as is.

Check out “Satisfy The Rage” from Rival, featuring Micah Martin, below.
