ROSSY is a name you’ll want to be keeping an eye on if her new track “what do u want” is any indication.
I try to avoid comparing artists’ sounds and styles as much as possible, but when you’re embodying some of the best elements of early Flume or Alison Wonderland, even a little Rustie, I think that’s compliment enough to get away with it. “what do u want” does away with typical song structure and streeeeetches everything.
No phrase or section ends exactly when you think it will, always subverting expectation and hanging on for that much longer. That being said, while perhaps out of place, nothing is ever musically dissonant.
