Hardwell Allegedly Drops New 100-Minute, 89-Track Hip Hop Mixtape

Enjoy the best of 90s and 00s hip hop with this unexpected mix

If you need an escape from 2020, look no further than this NOSTALGIA mixtape, supposedly from Hardwell.

The so-called “secret mix” has made its way online with zero promo on Hardwell’s part. This has kept the internet guessing as to whether it’s actually the superstar DJ/producer in the mix. The original source on Instagram (@robbertvdcorput) appears to be a fan account, but the standing theory is that Hardwell made this mix for his friends and now it’s making rounds online.

The mix blazes through staple hip hop hits from the 90s and 00s, working in 89 total tracks and spanning nearly two hours. Hardwell (or, whoever it is) wastes no time, opening up the mix with Ginuwine‘s “Pony.” From there, Nelly, Drake, Ja Rule, Cam’ron, Ashanti, 50 Cent, TLC, Chingy, J-Kwon and so many more are mixed in. Cassie‘s “Me & You,” Sisqo‘s “Thong Song,” The Game‘s “Hate It Or Love It” — it’s all in there.

Your EDM has reached out to Hardwell directly to find out whether this is really him or truly just a fan account. Listen and get caught up in the NOSTALGIA! Check out the full tracklist here.
