Fedde Le Grand is back with another new single, “Same Thing.” And this time, he’s incorporating even more disparate influences into a cohesive single. Featuring an Indie flavored vocal from Amy grace as well as some trap horns and deep house synths, “Same Thing” is an infectious single that will affect you whilst also making you groove.
The track opens up with Amy grace’s emotive, but gritty vocals. This is a typical breakup song, her lover keeps pleading their case, but she’s tired of it. She’s led to believe it’s something wrong with her, but as she laments, “It’s always the Same Thing.” As far as the music, there’s some nice guitar plucks that give the song a sort of emo/indie vibe. The dance music elements kick in after the first verse. It’s the drop that really gives it away.
