Wasserman agency CEO and founder Casey Wasserman has announced that he will step down from his role and sell his stake in the agency. This follows the news of Casey Wasserman’s involvement with sex trafficker and paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and child sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.

Casey Wasserman’s name appeared in the latest batch of Epstein files which was released on 30 January 2026, and consisted of 3.5 million pages. The documents reveal the heinous, barbaric and inhumane acts of world leaders, billionaires and the elite who engaged in paedophilic acts, sex trafficking, extortion, torture, murder and satanic rituals with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell at the centre of it all. Ghislaine Maxwell is currently serving 20 years in prison for facilitating underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein

In the files, it was revealed that Casey Wasserman had an email exchange of a sexual nature with Ghislaine in 2003. It was also revealed that Casey took Epstein’s private jet to Africa in 2002. The trip was facilitated by the Clinton foundation specifically for humanitarian and HIV/AIDS related issues. Bill Clinton, whose name is mentioned numerous times in the files, also joined him on the trip.

Now, after pressure from his employees, the talent his company represents, as well as the public, Casey Wasserman released a statement saying he will not only step down from daily operations, but that he will sell his stake in the company. This news comes after artists like REZZ, ODESZA, Lane 8, Subtronics, Seven Lions and John Summit have announced their departure from the agency.

In the statement which was issued to Wasserman staff according to the Wall Street Journal, Casey said that he’s “become a distraction”. He went on to apologise by saying “I’m deeply sorry that my past personal mistakes have caused you so much discomfort, it’s not fair to you, and it’s not fair to the clients and partners we represent so vigorously and care so deeply about.”

We will cover more on this story as it unfolds.
