Los Angeles’ electronic music scene is set to welcome a new addition later this year, with ORIGIN preparing to open its doors in the city’s Arts District. Expected to launch in late summer, the independent venue has been created as a dedicated home for electronic music, live performances and cultural events, further expanding LA’s ever-evolving nightlife landscape.
The project is led by Roni Mehrabian and Cyril Bitar, the team behind brands and events including SBCLTR, Minimal Effort, Brunch Electronik, The Maze and Resolution. While the venue’s inaugural lineup has yet to be revealed, ORIGIN plans to host a diverse weekly programme featuring live performances on Fridays, house and techno-focused club nights on Saturdays, as well as concerts, promoter collaborations and community-led events throughout the week. 
The venue’s design has been led by Marc Dizon, who has previously worked on renowned nightlife spaces including Brooklyn Mirage, Output, Hakkasan and Sound LA. Inside, guests can expect a custom analogue KV2 Audio sound system, complemented by a dedicated outdoor audio setup designed to deliver a high-quality listening experience across the venue. According to the team behind ORIGIN, the space has been created with a focus on putting artists, music and sound at the heart of every event.
Although an official opening date has not yet been announced, ORIGIN is expected to welcome its first guests later this summer. Additional details, including opening events and ticket registration, are expected to be shared in the coming weeks.
