Fresh from playing the Northern Nights Music Festival in Humboldt this past July, Jake McLelan also known as Tech Minds, an up-and-coming producer from San Francisco, CA known for his downtempo bass beats and artistic stylings inspired from 90’s tech-hop, has teamed up with vocalist Kenz to deliver their latest melodic hip-hop track “KARMEN”. Tech Minds, the key prioducer behind this Big Gigantic / Pretty Lights-esk sounding track, has most certainly highlighted that key 90’s west coast hip-hop vibe while in the background Kenz has laid the sexy, bilingual vocal foundation that completes the entire track, telling the story of a young girl who looses her way.
