Yes, DJs have lives outside of touring the globe and holing up in the studio, and they aren’t just magical elves who only come out for festival season. Photographer Jessica van der Weert‘s new exhibit, which will be shown at the Hoxton Gallery in London from February 27th until March 4th, gives us a glimpse of all-star DJs doing everyday activities. The project took 2 years to complete and features 28 DJs and producers in a different light than most people ever get a chance to see, such as Andy C grocery shopping and Paul Oakenfold mowing the Chelsea Football Club lawn. Check out the gallery to see the other side of Fatboy Slim, DJ Fresh, Carl Cox, and more.

Not sure how this is DJ’s doing “normal things”. There’s not a lot of normal about this album at all? Great photos and concept but it’s more them in a different light as opposed to doing mundane things.
Normal people don’t roller skate in the kitchen or walk around with trays of sushi.
This fucking sucks. The only normal shit is Andy C “shopping”.
I think you’ve captured all of the girl dj’s on camera, good job
