Lazy Boyz – Right Now [Free DL]

Rising trap lords Lazy Boyz are back in full force, unveiling a massive new tune through powerhouse label Elysian Records. They’ve had a few songs come out on Elysian now, all very impressive. “Right Now” is no exception; it’s a brooding song, full of all that bass-y goodness you’d expect from a Lazy Boyz track.

Lazy Boyz start things off with a guttural low note, ringing out under a nice drum pattern. Some high synth work adds a little color to the mix while still maintaining that dark feel. The first drop features a simple combination of high and lows, warming things up for what’s to come. A short interlude with some vocal work gives way to the final drop, which is where things really pick up. The high notes fall back for the first half, resulting in an initial explosion of lows and subs that sound like “Right Now” is literally growling at you. And if you think that sounds unappealing, you couldn’t be more wrong.
