Adele‘s hit song “Hello” has just done the impossible, and placed #1 on the Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. Adele has made an epic surge this week, rising from the chart’s third position and selling over 3 million copies of her album 25 in less than 7 days. She continues to prove time and time again that she has the entire music realm in the palm of her hand.
With the help of “Hello” remixes uploaded by Dash Berlin, W&W, Pink Panda and more, the track has also remained at the top of Billboard‘s Top 100 list for five consecutive weeks and jumped up the ladder on Dance Club Songs.
The song’s quick rise to recognition has come at the fastest time since David Guetta’s “Without You” back in 2011. “In addition to the Hot 100,” Billboard says, “it has crowned Digital Songs, Pop Digital Songs, Streaming Songs, On-Demand Songs, Billboard + Twitter Top Tracks and, among airplay charts (along with Dance/Mix Show Airplay), the all-format Radio Songs chart, Adult Alternative, Adult Contemporary, Pop Songs and Adult Pop Songs.”
