Another week passed means another set of great uploads on our SoundCloud page. Since we can’t feature all of them, we’ve picked out the arguable top five of the bunch for your listening enjoyment. This week’s Conspectus picks are some of 2016’s best, including some unique future bass bangers, a surprisingly solid big room house track and a heavy future house anthem.
We’ll start this edition off big with “Cyclop” by Tim Tailor, a house anthem to be loved by fans of Alesso and Axwell Λ Ingrosso. Both of the following tracks are future bass, but strongly vary in terms of both production style and rhythm. The first of these is a more melodic and chord-centric track from Blind Prism called “Tempers;” the second is the more bass-heavy, experimental “Metamorphosis” by Decap. “Voices” by Ollie Crowe & Rich James represents the best of future house with its hard-hitting kicks, punchy leads and smooth vocal chops, making it one of the best produced picks of this week. We’ll close off this edition with “Wild,” an epic return to big room by Showback & Chris Nois3.
