Hardwell Releases New Remix To Alan Walker’s “Faded”

by Matthew Meadow
April 6, 2016
in EDM News, House

Alan Walker experienced a viral hit when he released “Faded” with Iselin Solheim last December, currently holding over 130 million views on YouTube. As it might be expected with a track so successful, it garnered the attention of a variety of producers looking to remix the tune and put their own spin on it. Surprisingly, one of those artists happened to be Hardwell.

The original, beautifully composed tune gets simplified a bit by Hardwell, transforming the ballad-like tune into a banger fit for the main stage at any festival. The tempo is increased a bit, though the melody and lyrics are left almost entirely untouched.

The upbeat rhythm and uplifting melody and lyrics will be perfect for any Hardwell set when he just wants to engage the crowd emotionally. Listen to Hardwell’s remix below, and let us know how it fares up against the original!
