The dance music community collectively held their breath in February when legend Paul Van Dyk fell off stage during A State Of Trance. It wasn’t much later that Paul’s team updated fans via Facebook that he was okay, though he had been admitted to the hospital for a fractured vertebra in his back.
Paul’s team gave another update yesterday, stating that he is still in the hospital and recovering; however, all of his shows through mid-June unfortunately had to be cancelled.
Thank you for your countless messages, videos and well wishes. Paul is still in the hospital for further treatment….

While this news is understandably disappointing to fans, most of the community has shown nothing but support. Well wishes and comments of hope and love are the overwhelming majority on the announcement, proving just how dear PvD is to fans the world over.
We wish him a speedy recover, as I’m sure most others do, as well.
