Deadmau5 Is Latest Feature On Web Series “Before They Were Famous”

We all know about the deadmau5 of today: the brash, unapologetic, outspoken, genius producer that has wormed his way onto our social media in one way or another. Some of us like to think we know the deadmau5 from yore, as well: the quirky, fresh face in electronic music that revolutionized the industry and catapulted it into the limelight.

But what about the deadmau5 before “Faxing Berlin”? Before BSOD? To most of us, that deadmau5 is a mystery. But thanks to a YouTube series called “Before They Were Famous,” we now have our best understanding of Joel Zimmerman to date.

Even deadmau5 himself had to give props to the host for doing his research.

yeah. its actually pretty accurate. the guy did his research… couple of minor fuckups, but thats the gist of it. https://t.co/03CXKc5Zlh

The video is a little over 10 minutes long, but it’s honestly pretty fascinating even if you’re just a little bit interested in the mau5.
