The Chainsmokers performed for the first time at the VMAs tonight, absolutely crushing their performance. They played their #1 hit “Closer,” for which they brought out Halsey, of course. Much like their performance of “Roses” on The Tonight Show, “Closer” was performed live for the audience, complete with Drew on vocals accompanied by Halsey, as well as Alex helping out in the back.
We’ve no doubt that this nationally televised performance will catapult their careers into even higher places in the near future.
