Everyone is tired of hearing about “Closer,” and yet millions are still playing it daily. Call it a paradox, but it’s still a bonafide radio hit. The official remix pack for the track comes out on Friday, but there have already been tens of remixes of the track that have made the rounds.
One of the defining characteristics of the remixes seems to be that they lean toward future bass… perhaps a little too hard. YouTuber Marcus More compiled seven such remixes into an Ableton session – much like the country version we know you’ve seen – to show just how ridiculous the trend has become.
We really do love the producers called out in the video, but at the end of the day, it’s hard not to laugh at how ridiculous it’s all become.
