The Chainsmokers have just announced an extremely special event to take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center on Friday, December 30, coming as the iconic venue’s second-ever EDM performance in its history.
“We must be dreaming that we are playing the LACC. This will be a huge show, and we plan to bring an event that will set the tone for 2017 visually and sonically. Our fans’ experience is above all, and this will be a historic moment for us in our career that we can’t wait to share together.”
The one-night event comes as the culmination of the duo’s year-long success in the dance music circuit and beyond. Their track “Closer” with vocalist Halsey has remained at the top of the charts for longer than any other during 2016, and their multiple music awards have only further cemented their place at the top. 
In May of this year, Exchange LA partnered with Insomniac for the very first time to host a two-night Kaskade takeover of the massive arena, attended by over 20,000 fans.
Tickets for this enormous December event will go on pre-sale tomorrow, November 2 at 12 p.m. PST.
