Kaytranada Drops Funky Fresh New Remix for “Strobelite” by Gorillaz

Alicia Keys Teams Up With Kaytranada For ‘Sweet F’in Love’

Kaytranada - Joseph Okpako

Earlier this year, Gorillaz put out their first studio album in seven years. Humanz was star-filled record featuring some of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B. One of the album records that flew under the radar was the funky “Strobelite” featuring Pevan Everett. Thanks to this new remix by KAYTRANADA though, you can probably expect it to make a streaming resurgence.

In stereotypical KAYTRANADA fashion, the funky yet intimate atmosphere of the record is cracked up to the max. His remix of “Strobelite” certainly drifts deeper into the R&B and disco world than the original, no matter how implausible that might sound for fans of the original, making it the perfect easy listening record to get down to.
