Spinnin’ Forgets To Whitelist Sub-label Dharma Worldwide, Accidentally Removes Their YouTube Upload

Spinnin’ Records Launches New Subscription Model Titled “Spinnin’ Premium”

Sometimes when you own as many sub-labels as Spinnin’ does, it’s hard to keep track of them all. Ironically, and somewhat related, Spinnin’ recently became a sub-label of their own. Anyway, back to the issue at hand. Yesterday, a user on /r/edm pointed out that Spinnin’s YouTube CMS had accidentally blocked a track on copyright grounds – despite it appearing officially on one of their sub-labels.

Yup. ‘Awkward moment’ indeed. The poor sub-label in question was KSHMR’s new imprint Dharma Worldwide. For what it’s worth, “Punjabi” by Timmy Trumpet & Dimatik has since gone live on Spinnin’ Records’ main YouTube channel with over 18 million subscribers so Timmy Trumpet and Dimatik probably won’t have too much to complain about.
