List Of Most Shamazed Songs Of 2017 Is Out Now

The “Most Shazamed” list is a strange one. It isn’t like a Billboard list with definitive charts, nor is it anything like a “Most Streamed” list. Shazam’s main function is to identify songs you don’t know the identity of, and so, if anything, it’s probably one of the strongest indicators of popular songs. Because if you really, really want to know what a song is, you’ll open Shazam – otherwise you’ll just go about your business.

It’s funny then that many of the Most Shazamed Tracks of 2017 are also some of 2017’s most popular songs, like Ed Sheeran’s “Shape Of You” and even Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito.”

“Shape Of You” was Shazamed over 15 million times alone.

The rest of the top 15 includes tracks by Kygo & Selena Gomez, The Chainsmokers & Coldplay, Ofenbach, The Weeknd, Portugal. The Man, Calvin Harris, Imagine Dragons, and more.

The tracks were also broken down by category. However, the ‘Dance’ section has us scratching our heads a bit. Despite Selena Gomez & Kygo’s song “It Ain’t Me” sitting at #7 on the list, “Something Just Like This” by The Chainsmokers & Coldplay is apparently the Most Shazamed Dance track. That would make “It Ain’t Me” pop… but “Something Just Like This” isn’t? Okay…

Check out the list below.

The Most Shazamed 2017 tracks:
1. Ed Sheeran, “Shape of You”
2. Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber, “Despacito”
3. Clean Bandit featuring Sean Paul & Anne-Marie, “Rockabye”
4. Charlie Puth, “Attention”
5. The Weeknd featuring Daft Punk, “I Feel It Coming”
6. J Balvin & Willy William featuring Beyonce, “Mi Gente”
7. Kygo & Selena Gomez, “It Ain’t Me”
8. The Chainsmokers & Coldplay, “Something Just Like This”
9. Harry Styles, “Sign of The Times”
10. Burak Yeter featuring Danelle Sandoval, “Tuesday”
11. Ofenbach, “Be Mine”
12. Calvin Harris featuring Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry & Big Sean, “Feels”
13. Portugal. The Man, “Feel It Still”
14. Imagine Dragons, “Believer”
