The EDM community is still reeling from Avicii‘s passing, but music from EDM’s heavy hitters released en masse last week. Sometimes the best way to cope is with music, and thankfully we’re in no short supply of great releases.

Release Spotlight

Martin Garrix teamed up with fellow Dutch producer LOOPERS for “Game Over.” Released on Garrix’s own STMPD Records, the track is surprisingly funky for a Garrix release.

Calvin Harris released his remix of Halsey‘s track “Alone.” Harris gives a quality EDM makeover to the Stefflon Don version of the single.

The Chainsmokers put out their fourth single from their forthcoming album. “Somebody” features Drew Love from R&B duo THEY.

French house/disco Lemaitre paired with vocalist/producer Jerry Folk for their new single “Control.” The single follows up their previous 2018 single “Machine.”

Major Lazer reunited with Sean Paul for their new single “Tip Pon It.” The group previously worked with Paul for both “Buscando Huellas” and “Come On To Me.”
