Melodic multi-instrumentalist Gryffin releases his first single of 2018 with a cross-genre collaboration alongside Quinn XCII and Daniel Wilson.
The opening bars of the track features an irresistibly catchy whistle and reggae-like guitar strum that sets a paradisical mood for rising singer Daniel Wilson’s lyrics to smoothly enter. Gryffin crafts a summer-made runway before ramping up the energy in the drop with some airy horn stabs and crisp percussion. Quinn XCII takes the spotlight in the second verse as he takes the driver seat to give the song a party vibe and finish the track. An assortment of pop, dance, and reggae all packaged into one, “Winnebago” is the summer anthem fans of all genres can get behind.
“Winnebago” is the first single from Gryffin’s forthcoming full-length debut, to be released by Darkroom/Geffen Records later this year.
