Ekali Releases Debut EP “Crystal Eyes” Ahead Of Nationwide Tour With 1788-L, Slumberjack

It’s hard to believe that Ekali hasn’t actually released an EP since he broke onto the scene in 2015, but they say the greatest things are worth the wait. Ekali’s debut EP Crystal Eyes is officially out today via OWSLA / Big Beat / Atlantic, further solidifying the young Canadian as one of dance music’s most versatile producers.

Three tracks from the 6-track EP were already released as singles – “Forever” with Medasin and Elohim, “Helios” with Slumberjack, and “Leaving” with Yuna. The remaining three tracks, including one of our favorites on the EP with K.Flay, round out the release, giving it more depth and variety than we knew Ekali was capable of.

Then again, we’re not surprised in the least that he could pull this off.

Ekali’s ‘Crystal Eyes’ Tour starts October 12th at the Palladium in Los Angeles before stopping in San Francisco, his hometown Vancouver, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, New York, DC and more. Get tickets and see dates here.
