Trance legend Ferry Corsten is back with an uplifting new track “Tomorrow.” The Dutch producer/DJ recently dropped a full album of ambient and cinematic tracks under his alias FERR, now he’s back to just being Ferry with “Tomorrow.” While the track is certainly more uptempo than anything on As Above So Below, it still maintains some of those more ambient elements as well as packing the emotional gut punch that the album did.
“Tomorrow” opens with ambient synth notes and light pads building up in the background. It sounds like we’re back on As Above So Below. After that we get that nice progressive trance beat in the background and you feel instantly uplifted. There’s a cool synth break right after the first drop and then the track slows down and we get hit with those ambient synths again. Once again Ferry Corsten takes us on a sonic journey, and it’s a really pleasant one. Here’s what Ferry had to say about “Tomorrow.”
“After the FERR album ‘As Above So Below’, I wanted to go back to the dancefloor with a deeper oriented track that still keeps the intimacy of where I just came from.”
