Over the course of the past couple months, it has been brought to our attention that The Chainsmokers are no longer EDM – they are now pop. Without explanation, this has somehow flown under our radar and we apologize for not catching it sooner.
Looking back on their music now, it’s very easy to see. Of course “Paris” is pop music… what were we thinking? “Something Just Like This” is EDM? God no! Who in their right mind would ever consider “Closer” electronic dance music? It’s just unthinkable. 
We sincerely regret the error, and we will no longer cover their music because our readers have told us that we can’t.
