To celebrate their 8th birthday, Twitter launched a new web application entitled #FirstTweet which allows you to search through twitter users’ very first tweets. Since there isn’t much going on today we decided it would be fun to make a list of a bunch of first tweets by some of the biggest artists out there. So without further ado here are some of our favorite artists first step into the world of Twitter.
It’s actually kind of funny how an artist’s first tweet is often very revelatory of their general tweeting habits and language. Deadmau5’s complaining, Tiesto sounds like a canned PR blast, Zedd’s overly excited, Hardwell’s personality-less tweet, Krewella’s obsession with being wet, Dillon Francis…well being Dillon.
