Avicii and Taiwanese Star Wang Leehom Collaborate in ‘Lose Myself’

After the pop genre-bending success of True, and hints that he is in cohorts with Bon Jovi and Madonna, Avicii is continuing to break the rules of EDM. Once again, he has surprised us with a tactical new release that has been designed to garner success in the Far East.

The Swede has partnered with the established Taiwanese singer, Wang Leehom. The duo’s track is called Lose Myself, and has been chosen as the theme for the upcoming STORM Electronic Music Festival in Shanghai.

The song itself feels like a coming together of East and West, with Avicii’s signature big-room sound coalesced with pentatonic piano riffs and Wang Leehom’s expressive Mandarin singing.
