Dash Berlin Defends Trance Music

Social media recently received some heat with regards to trance music as fans have long stated that “trance music is dead.” Your EDM has previously taken issue with the “XXXX Genre is dead” argument, and it’s absolute trash. More often than not, fans are scared and frightened by a shifting tide in the way their favorite genre is being produced. But no genre ever really dies. (Hell, look at disco and how it’s been revived in new fashion with nu-disco.)

Trance producer/DJ Dash Berlin could not help but take a stand for the genre, making sure to point out trance music legend Armin van Buuren for cultivating the movement and allowing room for growth. According to Dash Berlin, trance is not dying, but is essentially evolving into something much greater. The producer voiced his opinion via Twitter saying:
