I don’t think anyone could have predicted half of the events that went down in 2015, least of all the absolutely meteoric rise of duo Jack Ü. Sure, it was obvious that a supergroup of Diplo & Skrillex was bound for success, but just the degree to which they’ve invaded nearly every corner of the market, it’s remarkable.
To celebrate their momentous year, the two have dropped an exclusive hour-long mix for SiriusXM and it makes use of all of their characteristic eccentricities. Featuring plenty of tracks from both OWSLA and Mad Decent, as well as cuts of plenty of their favorites in between, we wouldn’t be surprised if this mix was being played out for the rest of the year – until they release something better, no doubt.
Of course, they had to drop at least 1 ID, which they did at the 11:30 mark mashed up with “Get Low.” The track is a new trap banger, one we haven’t heard before, and while it could very well be from DJ Snake‘s upcoming album or a solo production from Diplo, we join you in hoping this could be a sign of things to come from Jack Ü themselves.
