Skrillex & Rick Ross drop their long-awaited Suicide Squad Collab “Purple Lamborghini”

IT’S FINALLY HERE FOLKS! Ever since Skrillex’s show in Atlantic City where he premiered his track “Purple Lamborghini” with Rick Ross, a deluge of hype has poured out from hip-hop and EDM fans alike. That all ends today as “Purple Lamborghini” has finally parked itself for our personal listening pleasure.

Skrillex is a part of hip-hop. I hate to break it to the “He’s just a dubstep producer” thinking people still out there but from working directly with: 2 Chainz, A$AP Ferg, A$AP Rocky, Big Grams, Chance The Rapper, CL, Fatman Scoop, Foreign Beggars, G-Dragon, Pusha T, Sam Dew, The Game, Vic Mensa and now Rick Ross, Sonny Moore has solidified his ground in the ever changing hip-hop industry. I’ll go one step further and say that Skrillex has played just as influential a role in the hip-hop scene during the past year as he does in the EDM scene nowadays.

See if “Purple Lamborghini” lives up to the hype in you, stream below:

OWSLA also shared a clip of the music video, which will likely drop extremely soon in its entirety.

“Purple Lamborghini” is the first track of 14 tracks on the Warner Bros’ much awaited Suicide Squad soundtrack due out the same day of the movie, August 5th. With such a stacked calibre of artists such as: Panic! At the Disco, Grimes, Skylar Grey, Kevin Gates, Kehlani, Action Bronson, Mark Ronson, twenty one pilots, G-Eazy, Imagine Dragons, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Logic, Ty Dolla $ign, X Ambassadors & Eminem to be included on the album I’m not sure which I’ll check out first the movie or the soundtrack.

Continuing with the hip-hop ventures Skrillex & Diplo as Jack Ü are set to release a collaboration with hip-hop’s cultural curators, Rae Sremmurd hopefully sometime soon?
