After the debut of Insomniac’s newest brand, Dreamstate, in Southern California last year, the trance event has expanded across the globe. Ahead of its most massive iteration next month in Southern California once again, it touched down in Melbourne last night for a show of absolutely epic proportions.
While the lineup – including Paul Van Dyk and John O’Callaghan – was something to be envied, it was the stage production that really set last night apart. The stage had a standard LED screen behind the DJ, but was accompanied by two concentric rings that stretched out into the crowd and shined brilliantly along with the music.
