It’s getting to the point that we’re literally hearing electronic music everywhere. Skrillex’s music was featured in the Baywatch trailer this past weekend, Party Favor is getting play in television ads, and Dillon Francis and Bassnectar are getting play in films – not to mention all the scoring that has been done by guys like Le Castle Vania, Varien, and more.
The latest example of this is the new trailer for the latest movie in the Fast & Furious franchise, The Fate Of The Furious, the 8th installment in the series. Dom Turetto turns against his crew for reasons unknown, but we’re just happy to hear Bassnectar’s “Speakerbox” in the trailer.
It starts at 1:52, but the whole trailer is worth it.
