Much like Porter Robinson’s live Worlds sets, part of the beauty of seeing Porter Robinson and Madeon together were the live edits of both their songs mashed up. Porter’s, admittedly, took center stage a little more often, but Madeon’s flair for melodic songwriting added a whole new dimension to Porter’s chiptune and glitchy songs.
One of our favorites, and apparently Proximity’s, as well, was the “Sad Machine x You’re On” mashup. Proximity says, “When I first heard this live I became obsessed – trying to find any version of it online until I finally found this amazing one. Wanted to bring this to life for people who heard it live or haven’t heard it yet.”
Though it’s not in the absolute highest quality, this should still scratch that itch.
