Ultra Music Festival featured plenty of surprise guests, including J Balvin, Daddy Yankee, other producers at each others’ sets, and so on. Probably the biggest guest of the weekend was Will Smith, who came out for Marshmello’s set on Saturday night.
As it turns out, the guest appearance wasn’t without its extra ramifications. Marshmello tweeted in the following week that he’s recorded a new collaboration with Will Smith, and it’s coming out this next Friday. We’ll likely find out the title and artwork for the track as the week progresses – and it’s a shame it wasn’t played live at Ultra – but this is definitely one of the biggest collaborations of 2018 so far. (Aside from the massive EP that The Weeknd just unleashed.)
The tweet from Marshmello has since been deleted, but we grabbed a screenshot which you can see below.
