Flume‘s production is nearly untouchable. The guy is simply on another level of artistry and it’s rare to find bootlegs from rising talent that do his work justice. Slooze, however, breaks boundaries with his “Helix” flip, constructing his own vision for the track — and it’s a heavy one!
For this redo, the softer moments of “Helix” are countered by edgy synths, endless imagination, and ultimately, unforgiving bass. Remixing Flume is a bold statement in itself, and this rising producer is determined to turn heads with his take on the instant classic.
