WRECKNO just ended Pride Month on a high note with his collaborative ROYGBIV EP, featuring fellow LGBTQ+ artists NotLö, Gardella, MAD Pritch, Ruku, Wessanders and Koko Villa.
The result is a bold and colorful 4-track release that empowers at every opportunity. With much confidence and sass, the ROYGBIV EP taps underground bass and exposes its ass-throwing beauty. The WRECKNO project is dedicated to pioneering a safe space for queer people in the EDM scene, where LGBTQ+ representation has historically lacked — and the ROYGBIV EP is a shining representation of that.
WRECKNO shares in his own words: ROYGBIV IS MY GIFT TO A VERY DARK PRIDE MONTH. THANK YOU TO ALL THE QUEER PEOPLE, AND ALL THE ALLIES THAT HELPED CONTRIBUTE TO THIS PROJECT. LOVE YOU ALL, HAPPY PRIDE xxxxxx
The DJ/producer/rapper also recently dropped a collaborative queer anthem — “Medusa” with GRiZ — intended to “give kids struggling with their sexuality [a song] to feel like being queer is cool.” Because it is.
