PRAANA Turn Their Gaze Inward With Sixteen-Track Album Insight Out

PRAANA have released their sophomore full-length, Insight Out, out now via Colorize. The record follows 2023’s Supernal Dawn, with Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed framing the two as companion pieces, one an awakening, the other its embodiment. Across sixteen tracks, the duo lean further into their glowing synth work and hypnotic grooves, giving the material more space to breathe than on previous releases.

Cisneros has described the album as something he lived through rather than conceived, rooted in the idea that clarity surfaces once the mind quiets, and that the real work is carrying that inward discovery back out into how you create and connect. Instrumental cuts like ‘The Unfurling’, ‘Fernwake’, ‘Calling In’ and ‘Zilker Gardens Echo’ sit alongside the vocal tracks, reinforcing that sense of space throughout.

Collaborators including ready ready wait, RKTKT and lydi lynn, Courtney Storm, Tina Parol, Freddie Elmberg and Susie Ledge are woven throughout the record, which closes with ‘Smoke Signals (Afterglow)’,  a stripped-down reimagining of PRAANA and Ledge’s earlier single that trades fuller production for something more intimate.

The release caps a steady climb for PRAANA, who’ve built a following through more than 30 million DSP streams and heavy SiriusXM Chill rotation. They’ll take Insight Out on the road this fall with Colorize tour stops in San Francisco and Seattle.
