Knife Party Previews New EP After Rob Swire’s Hearing Is Restored

We’ve been waiting for more news regarding a new Knife Party EP since June 3rd, thanks to an unexpected announcement from our favorite bass-driven duo. Now, despite Rob Swire losing his hearing thanks to “heavy usage of a vape pen,” we are finally getting a taste of the highly anticipated project – which seems to be heading in a bass house direction.

Although they might receive some criticism for working within the latest trends, parallels can be drawn to Nero‘s recent foray into the world of future house. Nero’s new track, “Two Minds,” definitely received mixed responses due to their divergence in sound; however, Knife Party took strides to prove that they can tackle any genre in their LP, Abandon Ship, while still remaining true to sound, so this new EP is promising to say the least.

Check out a short preview below and join us in our anticipation for more details regarding new Knife Party!

Oh yeah and despite whatever the blogs are saying, I do have my hearing back 😀 pic.twitter.com/6GGY7ybECg
