Just three months after his college graduation, Justin Jay is making some serious moves. The youngest dirtybird just released his Mom, I Graduated! EP and is in the midst of a massive world tour by the same name. This weekend, Jay will be stopping by Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, CA as a counselor for the first-ever Dirtybird Campout, the first three night festival hosted by the San Francisco-based record label, so he stopped by Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 studios last weekend for a special After Hours mix to keep his hype building.
The mix opens with a short introduction from Jay himself, as he briefly touches upon his origins and his musical influences before delving into 40 minutes of house, disco, funk, jazz, and more. Jay deftly jumps between tracks by Catz N Dogz, Robo Soul, and even mixes in a few unreleased edits by the youngest dirtybird himself.
