Uber Makes Serious Money Moves With Launch Of Branded Credit Card

Uber is making moves — money moves.

The ride service will soon offer its very own branded credit card in collaboration with Barclays and Visa. Rewards for purchases at restaurants, hotels, airfare, and of course Uber rides are just a swipe away. For those who use the app regularly, this could be a game changer.

Uber says it only takes minutes to be approved, and users will be able to apply within the app starting next month. The credit card boasts no annual fee, a bonus of $100 cash back after first $500 spent within 90 days, and offers tons of traveling perks.

Perhaps the coolest part of the Uber card — spenders will automatically receive an annual $50 subscription credit that can be used on services like Spotify, Netflix, or Amazon Prime!

The card also promises exclusive access to happenings across the country (i.e. events such as the Uber Summer Concert Series.)

More info on the Uber credit card here.
