The Weeknd Will Have A Second Daft Punk Collaboration On His Forthcoming Album

Listen To The Weeknd & Daft Punk’s “Starboy” [Full Stream]

A recent interview with The Weeknd from the Wall Street Journal has confirmed our earlier suspicion that there will be a second Daft Punk collaboration on his new album, Starboy, out November 25.

We first suspected the additional collaboration last month when The Weeknd posted another picture of a Daft Punk figurine after the release of “Starboy.” Considering that track was also preceded by a post of the Daft Punk figurines, we figured it to be a likely guess.

Now, in the interview, WSJ writes, “The remarkably spontaneous sessions yielded two songs on the album.“

Though that’s the end of it in the article, it should be enough to create as much hype as the initial news of their first collab, back in August. It’s not clear yet whether the track will be released as a single before the album’s release.
