Though this year’s Winter Music Conference was officially cancelled due to COVID-19 along with Ultra Music Festival and Miami Music Week, the International Dance Music Awards soldier on.
Nominations were announced mid-February in categories of Best Song, Best Album, Best Remix, Breakthrough Artist, and more including genres divided by genre. Meduza swept Best Song, Best Remix, and Breakthrough Artist, while Fisher nabbed Best Song with “You Little Beauty” and Avicii won Best Album with TIM.
Best Streaming Service predictably went to Spotify, with Best Label Going to Spinnin’ Records, Ushuaïa snagging Best Club, and Tomorrowland securing Best Festival.
Among the individual genre winners were Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Charlotte de Witte, Carl Cox, Christina Novelli, Skrillex, Alison Wonderland, Chase & Status, Nora En Pure, and more.
